OxyContin Execs Plead Guilty

Execs of privately-held Purdue Pharmaceuticals discovered through a 1995 focus group that physicians were worried about the addiction potential of OxyContin. Yet, execs told their sales team that OxyContin was less addictive than other drugs. The company is also accused of encouraging doctors to over prescribe the drug. For shame! Read the story here.
